Obaya in Bomod-ok from February 7-9,2011

Fidelisan (the heart of the Northern Sagada villages) will be having the Pakde. For this reason, obaya (sacred day of rest) is declared from February 7-9, 2011. Tourists are not allowed to enter the ili or go to Bomod-ok (Big Falls).

Sagada is an indigenous cultural community. When you visit the area, you are expected to respect the decrees of the dap-ay.

About how far is the Bomod-ok Waterfall from the City Hall of Sagada?

What is the name of the village that you need to pass through in order to go to the Bomod-ok Waterfall?

Which organization handles the tourism of the Bomod-ok falls? Is it SAGAS or SEGAS, etc. I am not quite sure where to go to set a day trip to the falls.

Thank you very much, and I sure hope to hear from you soon. 🙂
