Sagada All Souls’ Eve 2010

Like will-o-the-wisp. Elders pass by the village at five in the morning, their torch leaving a trail of flame. The sound of the ceremonial shield being struck wakes sleepy heads to a cold morning. The Begnas ends and the community shifts their focus on All Souls’ Eve preparation.
